The only reason I gave any stars is because it is cheap. I guess I got what I paid for. This gym makes way too much money to not be able to hire a competent staff. The only one who knew what they were talking about was the one who signed me up to begin with! From that point on the service was awful. They sign you up for the standard (strange + confusing) gym terms and conditions, which I get since going to they gym for some is a fad. What I don't understand is how the staff does not even know how to comprehend the very terms and conditions that they require you to sign up for. I had to dissect the jargon for them (three times) just so they could let me work out for the day. I have not been back since and won't be returning.
Recently canceled membership due to a lack of cleanliness and functioning equipment. On my last visit, I went to 3 different treadmills before I found a screen that worked, and then the sound didn't work. I was charged an extra month since it was within 14 days of the renewal date. That I understand but I don't understand a $25 cancelation fee. If you like filthy, broke equipment, this is for you; otherwise, look elsewhere.
Horrible. I no longer have a membership with this club and have not had one in seven months. It was turned over to someone else and it is the end of the contract period and they said that it automatically renewed and I have to pay it and pay a cancellation fee. If I do not have an account with them, why would I have to cancel it? Worst business practices I have ever seen with any company and would not recommend them to anyone ever.
DO NOT sign a single contract at this place. It would be the same as going to a pay day loan facility and giving them a blank check... THE PAYMENTS AND THE MONEY WILL NEVER STOP BEING CHARGED unless you go through this ridiculous process. Their crooks. The faculty members are rude and don't care about you unless their getting paid. You've been warned everyone.
I wanted to join. I really did. They have a lot of equipment and the gym is clean. But I was turned off by the music playing in the background. I went through about two R & B songs before I thought, I'd pay someone not to have to listen to this. And one of the staff was unprofessional. He was joking at the front desk about a 15-year-old girl having sex with a 20-something friend of his. Sorry if I'm old fashioned, but I don't want to hear that stuff. It makes me uncomfortable. The price is right, though. Keep in mind that you have to put 30 down, there is a maintenance fee and $25 to quit a membership with ten days notice before the next billing cycle.
