The Downtown Athletic Club is unlike any gym I have ever been a member of. The facility is always clean, never too crowded and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. At other gyms that I have gone to, I would find it difficult to find an open treadmill or elliptical on days that I needed to fit my workout in during 'peak' hours. I haven't had a single experience at the Downtown Athletic Club where I couldn't access the piece of equipment that I wanted to use that day.
I have also taken several of the group fitness classes with Trainer Beth Brestrup, she is really friendly and makes sure that all new students feel welcome and know the best technique for each exercise. Overall, my experience at the Downtown Athletic Club has been excellent and I would definitely recommend a membership to anyone who asks.
Take advantage of not only a great price for a massage but a great therapist working there. My co-workers and I all had sessions with Courtney, and she was fantastic. She did some wonderful trigger point work on my neck, and I walked out feeling great.
