I joined the $49 day challenge ($139.00). The monthly cost is $199, "special" is $149. $99/ month if paid in full. I received an email EVERY single day, but when I replied to any of the emails to continue the program, Irma (owner) replied, " Sorry Honey, you are a current member so this does not apply to you. WHY WOULD SHE NOT REMOVE ME FROM JUNK EMAIL??? Only she knows. I then replied well- since my membership just expired, what is my monthly cost? Then I get an email saying I am past due two months. I call her, very frustrated and confused, only to find out she had my paperwork mixed with someone else who has the same last name. I kept explaining this may be the case, but she insisted this was too confusing and it is best if I take my business elsewhere. I reminded her that I AM the one who emailed her asking her to provide me with an appt to become a permanent member. I also called her, and left several messages for her. She claims to have called and leave a message, but I can post pictures of my call logs stating she never called!! All I kept receiving from Irma was an attitude, stating she only wants "committed members" to join, but if I came M-Friday, everyday during the 49 day challenge, the free week before, emailed, called and left several voice messages to join, am I not a committed member??? Irma is trying to run a business, but with an attitude and unprofessional ism, I am certain I will not ever go back! There are so many negative things about this place. To recap: Smells like sweat, seriously it is a boot camp- can we invest in a few fans or AC to keep this place from smelling so funky!! Parking- You must arrive early to get a street parking space, parking lot space if not- drive around the corner and park Trainers- Class is only 30 minutes long, but classes are only 20 minutes. A Lot of talking- Trainers have you watching while they demonstrate the exercise, instead of having you at least run in place. Water- $1.00 for a small water bottle, warm water bottle- that is. Irma- when a trainer is doing an example she will step in and say- no, this is the correct way to do this.... I mean if you are going to coach your employees, do it in your own time. Don't make them feel embarrassed in front of everyone. Nutrition Appointment- They are not offered to you. If you need to make an appointment, you can not go to Irma and set it up. She will ask you to email or call her instead of taking a second and writing it in her appointment book. So many more negative comments to come..I seriously don't have enough time to type them all up. Thanks for reading :)
Irma, the owner and trainer is the best and really cares about her clients. I used to have a gym membership and would half - a$$ it all the time. Now I'm motivated to go to class 4-5 times a week and I'm stronger every day! I love boot camp! Its not the yelling, drill sgt type class you think of - you can somewhat go at your own pace until you get up to speed!
