My training experience with Seth has been awesome so far. He seems to understand intuitively what I need to get to the next level and how to help me achieve it. He pushes me hard but also understands my personal limits and keeping the long term goal at the forefront. Best of all, I can already feel and see the results. I can't wait to see where we go from here!
I moved to Arizona two months ago in order to complete a work assignment. I knew I was going to be working 12 hour days but was determined to make time to work on my body. After doing much research, I came across TPT and decided to give it a try. I was on a mission to fit into a dress and the result was, not only a reduction in weight but also an increase in muscle and drop in body fat percentage. Talk about success. Seth and his trainers were always prepared with a brutal workout for each session (not to mention the group sessions), to really put me through my paces. Honestly, I have never worked out harder than during these sessions. He listens to me and understands the things I want to work on. Seth also pushed me to stay on top of my diet and sleep to make sure I was prepared for each one and the results were definitely worth it. I wouldn’t have been able to achieve it without his guidance and support. Seth always had something new and challenging for me to try, he was always careful about monitoring my form and even making workout adjustments on the fly when necessary based on my own limitations and he made sure to keep the intensity high, knowing what I could handle, and making sure I took just enough rest between sets to keep going strong. Even though I trained mostly with Seth, I got the opportunity to train with other trainers, who were amazing as well, and would always keep an eye on me to make sure I was well taken cared of. It definitely feels like a family at TPT. After working out with Seth I feel like I've really pushed myself, way more than I did at the gym by myself or even with other trainers. I've only been doing this for two months, but I look forward to going every time and feel like I have a lot more energy and strength than I used to. So not only is Seth great at helping you with your form and making sure you are actually improving he also helps with your diet. It's like having a trainer and a nutritionist packed into one. AMAZING! TPT offers both one-on-one training and group session trainings, which are both TOP NOTCH. Trainers are knowledgeable, constantly looking for ways to improve and innovate, but most importantly they are good hearted individuals (which is really hard to find these days). The facilities are up to date, clean and they opened a new location which focuses on iCardio classes. The range in schedule and workout options made it easy to keep me motivated and work out every day based on my personal schedule. Since it's a private training gym, there is never a crowd. Everyone is always so focused in her/his workout that it's truly inspirational. The group of people who-work out at the gym are exceptional. They are constantly encouraging / supporting each other, very welcoming to new members and are willing to help in any way they can. I couldn’t have asked for a better support group in order to achieve my goals. I have now officially been training with Seth for 2 months, in which I have lost over 10 pounds, gained over 3 pounds of muscle and lost about 6% of body fat. I have surpassed my goals and fit into the dress! Seth has really worked at helping me change things around in and out of the gym. My diet has improved, plus I now WANT to go to the gym just because it now "feels good" and I enjoy the company. Looking back it was very tough to push myself to start, but once you make a commitment with a good trainer it all becomes easy with little steps and motivation. TPT is a great place and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking to get in better shape but you want a little more personal help making it happen. Seth and his team will have you on track in no time.
I have been training with Seth at TPT since March of 2014 and absolutely love it! As like most people, I had the normal goals of lose weight, tone up, run a 5k in record time and of course, achieving this ASAP. Not only did I achieve these goals in a much shorter timeframe then I expected but I surpassed them! I wouldn’t have been this successful without Seth and the staff at TPT. I actually WANT to come and workout and ENOY it very much! Which, I’ve never been able to say this before. Seth goes above and beyond to help you to succeed and you can’t help but have fun doing it. TPT has a great environment to workout in and you make some pretty great friends along the way. Whatever your goals may be, I know Seth and the staff at TPT can help you not only achieve them but pass them!
I have been going to Thurston Personal Training for 2 months now and have seen better results in that timeframe than I have from going to any of the other gyms that I've visited through various Groupons and referrals. Seth is extremely professional and genuinely cares about helping everyone reach their goals. Whether it's to gain muscle or lost fat, he will help guide and shape you in a healthy way. I have a bulging disc and other ailments that has hindered me from working out in the past. Seth and his team believe in safety first and will customize a workout so that you'll still be able to see results while being careful to not hurt yourself. I would recommend them to anyone who is tired of not seeing results and who is serious about living a healthier, stronger life.
What a great experience to be a part of the NPC competition this past weekend. Thanks to training by Seth, Aaron, and Stephen, we were well prepared. Aside from a slight amount of first time jitters, we felt completely comfortable on stage.
